I work with organisations in Switzerland and Italy, in Italian and English, and in the German-speaking market. I travel for the parts that need a room and a whiteboard.
What helps me answer you properly
No formal brief needed. Three things are enough: the problem in your own words, where it has stalled so far, and who inside the organisation has to say yes. With those three lines I can reply with something useful instead of a request for clarification.
If you already have a demo that works and cannot get it further, tell me what is blocking it. Nine times out of ten it is not the model.
How it goes from there
I reply within one working day, and I reply myself. The first step is a half-hour call with no strings, where I usually listen more than I talk: it is there to work out whether the problem is in my area. If it is not, I say so straight away, and where I can I point you somewhere better.
If it makes sense to continue, the next step is a discovery day — in the room if it needs a whiteboard, remote if it does not. What comes out of it is a proposal with the scope, the architecture and the acceptance criteria written down.
What I do not take on
I do not run generic AI training, I do not resell licences, and I do not take engagements whose expected output is a demo for a steering committee. That is not snobbery: those are jobs other people do better than me, and for less.
Questions that come up often
Which languages do you work in?
Italian and English for day-to-day work, German for correspondence and documents in the German-speaking Swiss market. Technical meetings usually end up in English, because that is where the vocabulary lives.
Remote or on site?
Both. Discovery and workshops are worth far more in the room; most of the rest is not. I am based in Ticino and travel across Switzerland and Italy without fuss.
Can I have your CV?
Yes — ask and it is in your inbox the same day. It is not on the site on purpose: a CV lists roles, whereas what you need to know is which problems were solved, and those are in the work and the writing.
Do you work with sensitive data and regulated sectors?
That is the bulk of what I do: healthcare, public service, insurance. I sign an NDA before going into specifics, and the data perimeter and the EU AI Act go into the architecture from the first sketch rather than being painted on at the end.
How long is a typical engagement?
From two weeks for an assessment to several months for a system going into production. The long part is almost never the build: it is the validation with the people who are accountable for the result.
